OCR: There are many methods of generating a hexagram without a computer. The majority of the methods used today involve tossing coins, and then depending on how the coins fall it determines what hexagram you are to read. Any book on the Ching will tell you one of several methods, but this stack does all of that for you. All you need to do is let the computer do the work for you, and then read the commentary of the hexagram and line of change. The commentaries have been kept short and concise. many may think the commentaries are too concise. The reasons for using a short commentary is to allow yourself the freedom to interpret the commentary for yourself. Practically every book on the I Ching tells you what it thinks the commentary means! Allowing the user to interpret the commentary is more flexible and authentic. If you really cant make sense out of the commentaries then you may have to buy a book about the I Ching so you can get more guidance in interpreting the various hexagrams.
